Protocols for shooting safely at our studio during COVID-19

We have taken steps to make our studio an environment that is as safe and comfortable as possible to shoot in.

Before you hire.

We will have cleaned the studio before you arrive on your hire day.

Hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance and exit to the studio and outside the toilet facilities.

Disinfectant wipes/spray will also be made available in the studio. We recommend that someone from your crew is assigned the task of periodically cleaning surfaces and handles that have been touched.

There are walkie talkies available if you need to speak to anyone in the production office. They will be sanitised before and after each hire.

On the shoot day, it is important that you check the temperature of your crew before they enter the building. We can loan you a forehead thermometer if you don’t have one.

The toilet facilities are shared with people who work in the production office. Disinfectant wipes/spray will be available in the toilet. A light has been installed that is connected to both the studio and production office indicating when the toilet is occupied and is set to allow two minutes between each use.

Please note that hirers are responsible for the following:

  • ensuring their crew are adequately protected with PPE where necessary

  • carrying out their own risk assessment

To allow people to distance safely at 1m, we believe a maximum of 8 people could work together in the studio.

We have tried to make the studio as self-contained as possible with tea and coffee making facilities available on a trolley.
Drinking water is also available.

As a constant reminder, COVID-19 protocol posters will be placed around the studio.

Equipment hire.

All equipment will be sanitised before and after use.
